Press Release Ballarat Food Celebrates Taste of the Region 10   April 2015 Ballarat, April 2, 2015:   The Taste Ballarat Produce Dinner to be held at the Lydiard Wine Bar April 10 will herald the opening event for Weekly Times Rural Lifestyle Expo 2015. The dinner is a premier event on the Ballarat culinary calendar. A team of local chefs have chosen hero ingredients from the producers exhibiting at the Taste Ballarat Food Pavilion at the Rural Lifestyle Expo complimented by a bounty of produce from local backyards and gardens. This is a first in regional Victoria, the event will be supported by the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance who will be screening their documentary Fair Food at the Expo on April 11.
